6 TYPES OF WATER POLLUTION
Surface Water pollution Groundwater pollution Microbiological Chemicals Nutrients Suspended Matter Oxygen Depletion

7 CAUSES OF WATER POLLUTION
Sewage and waste matter Industries Oil pollution Atmospheric Deposition Marine Dumping Radioactive waste Underground Storage Leakages Global Warming Eutrophication

8 DANGERS OF WATER POLLUTION
Heavy metals from industrial processes affect marine & human life Industrial waste are harmful to aquatic animals and subsequently people Infectious diseases are spread through sewage waste in drinking water Too much organic matter causes an increase of aerobic algae Acid Rain Suspended particles reduces quality of drinking water

9 DANGERS OF WATER POLLUTION

10 PREVENTION OF WATER POLLUTION
