3 Proper Nouns  A proper noun names a specific person, place, thing, or idea.  Examples- Johnny Depp, Mariah Carey, Danica Patrick, Tower of London, Tuscon, Nile, Matilda, Pirates of the Caribbean, This Land Is Your Land.

4 Singular Nouns  A singular noun names one person, place, thing, or idea.  Examples- bus, hero, zero, board, day, city, leaf, and roof.

5 Plural Nouns  A plural noun names more than one person, place, thing, or idea.  To form plurals- pg. 321
