MKDV Generator Possible Switch Architecture Two redundant single switch of 12-13 GTOs each Dynamic range 1.4 to 35 kV (SBDS in LSS5 option) Max. voltage 42kV (12 GTO) Simplest triggering system Switching performance at low voltage to be confirmed (<=100V per GTO) Switch sensitivity to SEB to be confirmed (spontaneous firing) Two redundant double switch of 10 GTOs each Dynamic range 5 to 47 kV (SBDS in LSS1 option) Max. voltage 70kV Complex triggering system (series or parallel)
