Types of Entries in Cells: Labels – text Values – numbers (5, 10%, $1.25) Formulas - equations - always begin with = sign

Spreadsheet Notes Workbook – a series of spreadsheets in 1 file Sort – to put data in order; ascending or descending order. Total cost = Price * Quantity Fill down (up, or across) – to copy a formula to adjacent cells by dragging bottom right corner of cell. Function Formula – Preset formula in a spreadsheet

Line chart – uses points on a grid connected by lines to represent values. Pie chart – uses a circle divided into pieces or slices to show the relationship of values.
