2.  Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe and disabling brain disorder.  Schizophrenia usually begins in early adulthood around the age of 18 for men and 25 for women.

3.  Schizophrenia can never be fully be cured but it can be treated with medication called antipsychotics.  Antipsychotics medicines have many affects such as calming, reducing but can take up to 4 weeks for the medications to work.

5.  Teens with schizophrenia have a 50% chance of committed suicide.  The estimated number of U.S citizens with Schizophrenia is over 2.2 million.
