Not an Exact Science There are patterns and tendencies when it comes to reading body language but the rules are not hard and fast for everyone Bell curve When reading body language, keep in mind -culture -context -individual

Non-verbal –vs- Verbal? If there is a conflict between the non- verbal message and the verbal message………….. NON-VERBAL WINS!!! I Love You!

Some Signs to Watch For… Eyes “crinkle” when a smile is real Eyebrows flash when you recognize someone Licking lips is a sign that the brain is engaged. Can’t tell if a person’s lying just because he’s touching his nose
