www.tie.net PIRLL - Partnership for Improvement in Rural Leadership and Learning Objective 1: To provide intensive professional development for 60 practicing principals and assistant principals that is embedded in their local practice and responsive to the needs of students served and the culture of their community. Objective 2: To recruit, instruct and support 50 aspiring school leaders who will become prepared and credentialed to serve high needs schools.

www.tie.net Having someone who has been in the principal’s office to provide some feedback and perspective. The visits and discussions were most helpful. Face to face meetings has been the best part of the experience. Having a positive relationship with a mentor you can trust and respect has had a positive impact. The feedback and discussion with my mentor was the most valuable part of my mentoring experience. Meeting face-to-face with my mentor on a regular basis has been really helpful to me. These meetings have allowed me to discuss, process, clarify, and reflect on school situations; the time to reflect has had the most impact.
