What the Player Must Do Go to the Team Login page for Fall 2015. This is not the same page as Fall 2014. Enter the PLAYER email address that matches the PLAYER email address in the player record for YOUR Team. Click on the link that says the player needs a PIN. The PIN will immediately be send to that e-mail address from Demosphere. The player then uses that PIN to log in to the player’s individual folder. The player can then click the Payment option, enter his or her credit card information, and the payment will generate both an email and will show in the payments link in your team folder. 2015 ASL Preseason Meeting8

Coach Passcards If you have a nonplaying coach, meaning not a registered player, that person needs to go to the office and get a passcard. There is no charge. If your “coach” causes problems in a game and we don’t have a record of that person being your “coach,” then your person has created fan problem, which will become very expensive for your team. 2015 ASL Preseason Meeting9

Referee Issues We know who the referee is. We don’t need you to help us establish their identity. We don’t have enough referees and how you can become one. What constitutes referee abuse. Who makes decisions at game time if teams aren’t ready to play. The referees don’t know the league rules. After the referee has been an idiot for 90 minutes, the referee’s opinion on how many games you’re suspended isn’t binding on us 2015 ASL Preseason Meeting10

Insurance The league offers a player accident insurance program as part of our general liability coverage. We are discontinuing the additional insurance coverage program. It costs $4 per player and less than 5% of the claims we submit are from uninsured players. Essentially a lot of people are subsidizing very few people. 2015 ASL Preseason Meeting11
12
Concussion Education We are required by the city to have an ongoing education program for concussion recognition. 2015 ASL Preseason Meeting12

Postponing games All makeup games will be played the Sunday after the regular season. The team requesting the reschedule must get approval from their opponent. The team requesting the reschedule pays a $25 reschedule fee. Obvious point: If you can’t play the Sunday after the regular season, don’t ask to reschedule. 2015 ASL Preseason Meeting14

Appeals Appeals must be made in person at the office be close of business on Wednesday after a Sunday game. That means 2 pm. The appeal fee is $25. You do not need the referee report to file an appeal and we will not extend the deadline because you haven’t seen the referee report. The person who received the red card does not have to file the appeal. Hearings are at 6:30 at the league office on the Thursday immediately after the game. Filing an appeal is not the same as having your card overturned. 2015 ASL Preseason Meeting22
