Article 1 – Combustion of fossil fuels is the primary source of excess CO 2 Article 2 – Measurements of CO 2 show increasing levels Article 3 – Increased CO 2 levels are causing serious impacts to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness Article 4 – The CO 2 level is already above levels compatible with our current habitat

Some general guidelines: 1. reduce emissions from commuting to work, home heating and home electrical use by 20% per year for each year from 2010 to 2020 2. increase non-fossil fuel based energy use by 5% per year for each year from 2010 to 2020 3. help family and friends to do the same The ABCs of CO 2
