2 What is the Welfare State? Why is its maintenance at risk? It is a concept of government in which the state plays a key role in the protection and promotion of the economic and social wellbeing of its citizens.

3 How is it related to social rights? It is based on the principles of opportunity, equitable distribution of wealth and public responsability for those unable to avail themselves of the minimal provisions for good life.

4 . The welfare state is for everyone What differences do you see between the text and the images?

5 Is there any relationship between welfare state and privatizacion of service? There are rich people who have everything and next to them there are poor people who can’t pay for their basic services putting their lives and their future at risk.
