Gender Roles: refers to a set of behaviors that a particular culture deems acceptable for men and women.

Men are predisposed to be more aggressive, possess better visual-spatial skills, possess greater upper-body strength…thus, making our ancestors better hunters
Women are predisposed to develop empathic and nurturing traits, helps them care for infants/children, which thus increased the chances that our species could survive.

5. Sociocultural Theory
Gender is learned taught by society.

6. Gender Differences: Love
Gender stereotypes tells us that men are more ludic and avoidant lovers.
Stereotypes tell us that women are more romantic (eros) and anxious lovers.

7. Research Indicates that neither sex loves more than the other.
Women and men do differ, on average, in how they express love.
