WAYS TO SUCCEED IN THIS CLASS SUPPLIES NEEDED CLASS RULES WHAT TO DO

BE PREPARED – What you need to bring to class!!! Writing utensil (pencil or blue/black pen) Section of loose leaf binder with paper Section of binder OR Single subject notebook for Warm up questions Agenda to write down assignments

Warm up Notebook Section of binder or Single Subject spiral notebook Copy question first thing each period Number each question Answers will be discussed There will be announced Warm up quizzes

Class Rules Show respect for yourself, others, and all property & equipment in the room Come to class on time Be prepared (see supplies on next slide) Remain in class-limit requests to leave the room Raise hand to speak

What to do to succeed Bring required materials to class Do your homework on time Listen in class Work well with your group Study for tests and quizzes

Also to succeed you need to… Keep an organized notebook Keep an up-to-date grade sheet

Grade Sheet Page one of notebook All grades get recorded on grade sheet Assignments get points To get your grade, divide points achieved by points possible Grade sheets will be collected

Notebooks Important study tool Need to be kept organized Graded when Unit tests are given Notebook Organizer Pages are numbered

Almost every night either written or studying Always posted on the board Should be copied at the beginning of class Homework

Credit for Assignments For full credit assignments must be on time Homework a day late gets half credit Homework will not be accepted after that 2 makeup days for absence from school No Individual Extra Credit
