1. 1.Portion – A piece of meat or helping of grain the Levites or the King received 2.Cup – A serving of blessing poured out 3.Lot – A piece of land someone inherits (Numbers 18:20) The LORD said to Aaron, "You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites.

2. (Psalms 6:6-7) I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears. {7} My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.

3. (Psalms 3:5-6) I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. {6} I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. (Psalms 4:8) I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. (Psalms 127:2) In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-- for he grants sleep to those he loves.

4. (Psalms 27:13-14) I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. {14} Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
