3 First Aid Treatment of Major Arterial Bleeding How to treat Major Arterial Bleeding: Step 1: At the source of the wound, apply immediate pressure. Step 2: Raise the source of the blood above heart level, keep calm and call (or get someone else to call for you) 111,911,119, or 000, depending on your location. Step 3: Remain calm, keep source of blood above heart level, and keep pressure on the cut/wound while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

4 How can Major Arterial Bleeding occur? Major Arterial Bleeding can be caused by: Cut/skin pierce on an Artery. Internal damage of an Artery. A broken Artery And basically anything that can damage/break an Artery.
