3. About Me I am originally from the small town of Lilbourn, Missouri. –Lilbourn is located in what is called the 'boot-heel' of Missouri. I graduated from New Madrid County Central High School in 1998. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Middle School Mathematics from Southeast Missouri State University. This will be my third year teaching in the Ste. 4. My Favorite Math Sites Mathisfun AAA Math Mathsisfun has several cool games and logic puzzles! Also, the site explains math concepts. AAA math separates math by grade level and by categories. For each topic, the site gives an explanation and examples. The site, also, has a practice section for each topic; The practice gives immediate feedback on the students answers. Back to Links

6. Web Quest Webquest are in-class assignments. I will provide class time for them. Back to School: Shopping Spree Hopefully the student will not only gather greater math skills, but, also, develop an appreciation for and understanding of spending money. Classroom Pets Through the eyes of four students learners, students will develop a business and learning plan to persuade school administration and classmates to select a specific classroom pet. Tutoring Mandatory Tutoring Every Wednesday morning from 7:55 to 8:30 Students with a "F" in any core class on their 4-week progress report will be required to attend the mandatory tutoring session. Additional Tutoring Every Thursday afternoon from 3:15 - 3:45 Any student may attend the additional tutoring session. I encourage all students to attend Thursday afternoon tutoring!!! Back to Links

The most helpful, I think, are the grade level links; For each grade level I teach, I show the topic that we talked about each day, homework, helpful links for that topic, and upcoming assessments.
