Bipolar disorder is a lifelong condition that can affect both how you feel and how you act. It is a mood disorder that can cause extreme swings in mood.

Symptoms of bipolar are depression and mania. Bipolar depression does cause feelings of sadness, emptiness, and loss of interest. Bipolar depression can make it difficult to concentrate. Mania people feel unusually great, it's common to be overly talkative, have lots of energy, and need little sleep. Some people go through a less server form of mania called hypomania.

Bipolar disorder affects approximately 5.7 million adult Americans, or about 2.6% of the U.S. population age 18 and older every year. -In Australia it is approximately 238,957 people. - In the United Kingdom it is approximately 723,248 people. - In Germany it is approximately 989,095 people. - In Canada it is approximately 390,094 people. - In Iran it is approximately 810,038 people. -And for both India and China, each have somewhere between 12 - 15 million people who are bipolar!

As with bipolar people have two personalities or two different feelings back to back; one moment you sad and the next your happy.
