Certification Of Educators Certificates –Beginning Educator Certificate (BEC) –Experienced Educator Certificate (EEC) -3 years’ experience –Intern (issued for duration of plan up to 3 years) –Master Teacher –Paraprofessional (optional) Renewable every 3 years (except Professional Certificates and Life Certificates issued prior to 1976)

Endorsements Teacher –Examples: Chemistry, Physics, Elementary –Grades included (N-3, K-8, K-12, 5-8, 5-9, 5-12, 7-12) Specialist –Examples: Guidance Counselor, Media Generalist –Grades included (K-12) Administrator –Examples: Superintendent, Principal, Special Education Administrator –Grades included (K-12)

Alternative II Completion of teacher education program approved by another state or Qualifying experience under certificates in states participating with NH in the Interstate Certification Contract or Alternative programs in other states **PRAXIS I and II if applicable **
