Graphing Statistics Project Definition: A line graph is a graph that uses points connected by lines to show how something changes in value. This graph would be used for stuff such as having gradual results as time goes by; a line graph can clearly show data like this. This is a line graph depicting various temperatures within 6 days in New York City. This can be used to show comparisons between temperatures over time. It is very simple to read A broken scale can be used if the data initiates at a large number They show patterns in data lucidly, meaning that they visibly show how one variable is affected by the other as it changes. They enable the viewer to make predictions about the results of data.
