Facts 90% of future popn growth will be in Developing countries. Greatest popn growth has been (and will be) in Asia. Currently, 80% world popn lives in LEDC’s. By 2020, 16% global popn in MEDC’s (even though there will be more MEDC’s by then). Each baby born in USA today will consume 80x the resources in its lifetime of a child born in India today. 3 billion people will enter childbearing age in next generation; only 1.8 billion will leave that phase of life.
