DEPARTMENT: AGRICULTURE Goals To represent South Africa’s agriculture interests: through the development and consolidation of bilateral relations (with special focus on Africa and South South Cooperation) in multilateral institutions through sourcing international assistance to contribute to delivery of the NDA priority programmes.

DEPARTMENT: AGRICULTURE Focus areas 3TP 2 T rade - increased international trade T echnology – (and Research collaboration) T raining ( human resource development, mentorship and technical assistance) P olitics (establishment and consolidation of bilateral and multilateral relations at a high political level, and implementation of high level political initiatives) P eople to People interaction (multi-stakeholder dialogue, farmer to farmer exchanges, academic collaborations, student exchanges etc).
