God is omnipotent. God is good. Evil exists. If God is omnipotent, he’d be able to prevent evil. If God is good, he’d want to prevent evil. Yet, evil seems to exist.

Job repents, acknowledges his ignorance God rewards Job with twice his previous wealth for his faithfulness

9 The Problem of Evil Why do bad things happen to good people?
Explicit answer in Job Human Ignorance: We can’t hope to understand God’s reasons for what he does. We shouldn’t question God’s decisions, but simply trust and obey. Secondary/implied: Life is a test to see whether we will remain faithful to God.
