They say our kids won’t be as prosperous… our kids won’t be as educated… our kids won’t be as healthy. And that may be true. For other people in other places. 10. National Walk to School Day Over 40% participation at the Upper Elem. in 2013 Salem Upper participated in Walk at School in 2014 utilizing the new Tiger Trail. Teachers had the option to participate. Northwood R-IV grades K-8 th participated in Walk at School

11. The winning classes from each building were rewarded with a yogurt parfait and Wii dance party. Halloween Candy Buy Back Sponsored by two local dentist offices Over 220lbs of candy collected and donated to soldiers

14. Know Your Numbers Event Free Biometric screening for all Salem R-80 staff that are currently enrolled with the schools provider; United Health Care. BMI Blood Pressure Cholesterol Glucose 117 participants registered for the Event Insurance provided a $75 incentive for completing an online survey.
