1. Sylvia has to figure out how to get down from the tree. 2. Sylvia does not want to admit that her father was right. 3. Sylvia’s father does not want to help her get down. 4. Sylvia has to apologize for climbing the tree along, when she was not supposed to.

1. He does not help her because he wants her to learn a lesson about obedience. 2. He is so happy that she got down safely that he is no longer angry with her. 3. He watches her to see how she will solve the problem on her own. 4. He wants her to become an arborist, so he leaves her to solve the problem alone.

1. When Sylvia’s caribiner gets stuck on a branch 2. When Sylvia describes how she got her name 3. When Sylvia hugs her dad 4. When Sylvia realizes how to free the caribiner
