Learning Styles Which one are you?
2
Three types of learning styles Visual Auditory Kinesthetic
3
Visual Learners Learn through seeing pictures, diagrams, charts, graphs, etc. Information is processed through observation of others. These learners tend to sit in the front of the class and in a lecture setting they find it best to take detailed notes to fully absorb the information.
4
Auditory Learners Learn through listening and tend to function best in classrooms that are taught through lectures or classroom discussions. Written information has little meaning for them until it is heard. Reading aloud or books on tape are helpful tools to help retain information.
5
Kinesthetic Learners Sometimes referred as tactile learners, these students learn best through touching, moving or doing the lesson. A hands-on approach is best because they tend to have difficulty sitting for long periods of time. Puzzles, crafts and other interactive activities are helpful.
