4 EQF “To raise awareness of EQF among employers, public, private and NGOs” Not EQF, but national qualification frameworks seem te be important. We have to wait for these national frameworks Scotland is ready, but the rest is still underway

5 Employers and soft skills? How do employers feel about the relevance of soft skills? What soft skills do they miss when they hire new employees? -> Research in 3 countries (SE, UK, NL) -> Report should help us to tell other why social skills are important at the workplace

6 Steps Step 1: Develop questions (January) Step 2: Develop digital questionnaire in 3 languages (interface in Dutch & English; February) Step 3: Introduction letter in 3 languages (February) Step 4: Collect email addresses for each country (we aim at 50 returned questionnaires per country; March/April) Step 5: Send out questionnaire, geather data and report (May: presentation of results at next project meeting)

7 Questions Short and easy to answer Multiple choice for easy reporting Some open questions for more elaborated data Questions on: The company Expectations on new employees Social skills Missing skills Who is filling in the questionnaire 17 questions in total

8 To add 5 short interviews with employers in each country (after the next project meeting) Make a list of questions for this (NL, SW, UK)
