2  Mars is the fourth planet from the sun.  It takes Mars 24 hours, 39 minutes, and 35 seconds to do one revolution.  The equatorial diameter of Mars is 6,786 kilometers.  The atmosphere of mars is thin, and made up of mostly carbon dioxide.  The planet Mars has two moons.  The planet Mars does not have any rings.
