3. Choir Goals 1. Students will become stronger singers 2. Students will sing a wide variety of music. 3. Students will learn how to hold their own part in the choir. 4. Students will gain skills in reading music, sightsinging music, and following their part in a choral score. 5. Students will demonstrate learned skills in public performances (concerts, other performances)

4. Concert Dates – Fall 2015 October 6 ◦Fall Concert @ IW 7pm October 27 ◦South Area Choral Festival – 7pm @SMS Gym December 14 ◦Winter Concert – 7pm @ IW December TBD ◦Blaez/Argento sing at Crown Center or other venue

5. ARGENTO-SMEF BREAKFAST DETAILS as of 8/27 September 8: (NO SCHOOL) Drop off at Indian Woods at 11:45, bus leaves at 12, rehearse at SMS @12:30, bus back to IW at 3:30* (time subject to change) September 9: Final Rehearsal ◦Bus picks up ladies at 3:45 after school, go to Overland Park Convention Center for rehearsal ◦Pick up from Overland Park Convention center at 6:30* (time subject to change)

ARGENTO-Note/Permission Slip to come home next week September 10: Breakfast Morning ◦Wear: District provided t-shirt (tucked in or pulled back with elastic and seam tucked under), black dress pants, black socks/hose, black shoes (no bare feet even with ballet flat shoes) ◦Drop off at IW at 6:15 am, bus leaves at 6:30am ◦District providing Chris Cakes pancake breakfast for ladies ◦Sing opening number, return to IW for 1 st hour
