3. Ways to help your child in 5 th grade Talk to them daily about their day at school. Be aware of the school schedule. Check for homework/projects. Google Classroom, My Homework app. Teacher web and Sycamore Communicate questions, absences or circumstances preferably by email (24/7). Make school a priority – sport activities and vacations are important, however don’t fall behind. Keep them healthy! Support them in their efforts in school, and outside school.
