2. Transport Flights We are flying with Jet2 Newcastle to Rome: Sunday October 11 th DEPART 07:45 – ARRIVE 12:00 Rome to Newcastle: Thursday October 15 th DEPART 12:15 – ARRIVE 14:30 We are meeting at the airport at 05:45 on Sunday 11 th October - beside the Jet2 check in desk. Collect at the international arrivals on Thursday 15 th October.

3. Journey For the trip the children will be provided with a cap and they must wear their school sweatshirt. They will need a rucksack to take on board and a suitcase for the hold. The suitcase allowance is 20KG The rucksack allowance is a small rucksack Luggage needs to be clearly labelled with luggage tags and the return labels need to be packed into the suitcase ready for us to attach on the way back.

4. Insurance The trip will be covered by South Tyneside LA insurance. Personal items need to be covered by your own travel insurance. We need the name of the company and the policy number.

5. Accommodation Hotel delle Muse First meal will be dinner on the Sunday evening. After this all breakfasts, packed lunches, evening meals are included in the price.

6. What we will be doing…. Rome City Centre The Vatican – including the Papal Audience The Collosseum The Catacombs The Pantheon The Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain Maybe Swimming (outdoor pool) All of these trips are included in the price as well as using public transport.

7. Medical All medical needs must be explained on the medical forms. Any medication needs to be handed into school be Friday 2 nd. October – clearly labelled. Completion of a calpol/paracetamol sheet Children need their own sun cream and insect repellent in their suitcase. A first aid kit will be carried by the staff at all times.

8. Money… Children are allowed to bring ??? euros in spending money. This needs to be handed into school by Friday 2 nd. October in a clearly labelled envelope. They will not need any more….and may bring some back!!

9. Personal Belongings No electrical games including nintendos, ipods, ipads, iphones are allowed. A camera is allowed to allow the children to record their memories – remember to pack the chargers or extra batteries – in the suitcase. A water bottle to be filled each day – with their name on it.

10. Clothing Children need to have an outfit to wear for the Vatican visit Girls MUST have their shoulders and knees covered. Boys MUST have longer shorts or trousers. All other clothing can be found on the kit list.

11. Keeping you posted During the week we will be using the texting service to let you know where we are. St.James will also be blogging Website Explore4all will be uploading photos on Facebook. No news is good news!!
