REMEMBER TO DO/ REMEMBER DOING Remember to post the letter. = Don’t forget to post it. I clearly remember locking the door before I left. = I locked it and now I clearly remember this. REMEMBER + To INFINITIVE : remind you doing sth before you do it. REMEMBER + GERUND: you remember doing sth after you do it.

TRY TO DO / TRY DOING TRY TO DO: attempt to do, make an effort to do. EX: Please try to be quite when you come home. TRY + GERUND: do sth as an experiment or test. Ex: Try some this juice perhaps you’ll like it. ( drink some of it to see if you like it)
