Philosophy of Science Thomas Kuhn — Structure of Scientific Revolutions –Example Copernicus—earth as center vs sun as center of solar system and universe (geo-centric vs helio-centric) –This general process is the way new movements or change takes place

Anisa Model Education has been pre-paradigmatic Anisa model is intended to produce a paradigm of education –Includes a research and evaluation process such that it engineers its own paradigm shift –Has already undergone several paradigm shifts –Must make commitment to finding out the truth of things the reality that there will always be change –Must make a decision as to which is the correct direction for change

World University Develop curriculum for the world university (UNESCO) –Goal is to secure the peace of the world Important things to be done; cannot wait for others to leave the old paradigm

World University Focus on the development of integrative generalists –Have broad perspective –Able to perceive and make connections among various people’s efforts –Can function in a coordinating, peace-making role Working on K-12 social studies curriculum –1000 most pressing problems facing mankind
