2 Vocabulary Set #1 1.consider v. – to think about something very carefully 2.feast n. – a large meal for many people to celebrate a special event 3.generous adj. – willing to give more time, money, etc., than normal 4.guilt n. – sadness and embarrassment because of a wrongdoing 5.load n. – a large amount of something that is carried load v. – to put a load on or in something 6.mean v. – to have a meaning Mean adj. – unkind or wanting to hurt others Mean n. – an average of the data 7. occasion n. – a time when something happens 8. proof n. - facts or information that show something is true 9. settle v. - to end an argument or a bad situation settle v. – to start a home and a family 10. spirit n. – the parts of someone’s personality that make him or her special (people believe these special things live on after death.)

3 1. Consider v. To think about something very carefully I need to consider all my choices and consequences before I make a decision.

4 2. feast Feast n. a large meal for many people to celebrate a special event. People do a feast in special occasions. my family and did a feast on thanksgiving.

5 3. generous Adj.-Generous adj. willing to give more time,money etc. then normal. I was generous with my friend I gave her $20.

6 4. guilt n.- sadness and embarrassment because of a wrong doing. I felt guilty because I hurt my friend feelings guilt is like hurting someone’s feelings.

10 Mean adj. Adj.-Unkind of wanting to hurt others. Mean is like to hurt people. She was being mean to me.

12 7. Occasion n.-a time when something happens. Occasion its when people celebrate special events. She celebrate new year.
