W HY TEACH PDHPE IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL CURRICULUM ? All children have a right to a broad and balanced education. The teaching of all key learning areas is crucial.

In our society there is a rapid awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is achieving and maintaining mental, physical, social and spiritual wellbeing.

PDHPE WILL PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO LEARN, PRACTICE AND REFINE THEIR SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND VALUES THUS PROVIDING A SOLID FOUNDATION FOR FURTHER EDUCATION AND EFFECTIVE PARTICIPATION IN SOCIETY.
