Koala Corporate Servicing Overview On our recent state visits we highlighted some of the concerns with corporate consignment stock. There were a number of issues that highlighted the need for a better system. The following procedure is based on a “win – win” for both distributors and Koala. Our two objectives were to simplify the process and reduce administration. Corporate consignment stock will finish 31 st August. For the month of August we need your corporate servicing for all deliveries to 31 st August. Tony H has attached a SARS update. This will allow you on the 31 st, to press the corporate sales button and it will print out all corporate invoices for August. Check and send a claim for this amount. At this date many distributors will have used more than their allocated consignment stock, for this amount you will receive a credit. If you haven’t used all your consignment stock you will be invoiced for the amount and given 90 days to pay. We will forward a complete consignment stock summary for you to check. WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

Koala Corporate Servicing Overview Koala will now invoice out all stock (specialty cards remain the only exception). You will continue to order as normal. Stock sold to corporate customers will be treated the same as any of your other customers. At the end of each month you will invoice Koala the amount of stock sold to corporate customers and put one claim in for the total amount at 50c plus GST ( 40c for stock and 10c for commission). You enter this amount into your accounts and Koala will credit your account on the 10 th of the following month. If the 10 th is a weekend it will be paid on the last business day before. Effectively you will receive payment for Koala customers from anywhere from 10 to 41 days. Your average payment will be 25 days. We have also added a field into the SARS customer base for non Koala approved discount customers, those who Koala reimburse the distributor. These accounts need to be notated in SARS and a delivery docket entered and they will be summarised by SARS for you at the end of the month to process the same as corporate customers. The only difference being you claim just the discounted amount and you fax the summary and supporting invoices just once at the end of the month. We have created a quick sheet providing a step by step process to follow.
