R ELIGION OF A SHANTI The Ashanti people live in central Ghana in the rain forests of South Africa. Ashanti beliefs are very important to Ghana, most of the Religion there is Ashanti. Let me remind you that Ghana is a very new nation, just tipping the iceberg of 50 years old. The area of Ashanti is 9400 square miles.

R ELIGION OF A SHANTI (C ONTINUED ) The Ashanti people have always been known for being fierce fighters. They use this slogan when facing something difficult, “If I move forward, I die. If I move backwards, I die. I might as well move forward and die.” This plays out in their religion, they would rather die with their beliefs, than live without them.

A SHANTI R ELIGION ( CONTINUED ) The Ashanti religion is a mixture of spiritual and supernatural powers. They believe in witches and fairies. They also believe that plants, animals, and trees have souls. The Ashanti people also have a ceremony for Marriage, Birth, Death, and Puberty.

R ELIGION OF A RAB The most common Arab character tradition is the continuation of the Islamic religion. Muslims take up 93% of the Arab religion.

C UISINE OF A RAB The cuisine of Arab has vague similarities to our cuisine but they are still there. Arabians are no different than we are about our food, they just cook it differently than we do.

B ANTU R ELIGION The Bantu Religion is a very spiritual religion. Yes they believe in God but they have different perspectives about him. In the Bantu religion, there are no common resources about how the creation of the Earth.

S WAHILI R ELIGION Swahili comes from the Bantu religion so they have a lot in common. That’s why the Bantu slide was so short, (sorry about that.) The language of Swahili has the same words of the Arab, Ashanti, and the Bantu tradition as well!

I N C ONCLUSION ! In conclusion, all of these diverse cultures have many things in common, but then again, the are all unique in their own special way!
