HOW to become a police officer. First you have to have an education and you have to be 21 years old then you go through training and you must be a U.S. citizen or a citizen of the state you live in.

Police environment. Police and detective work can be physically demanding, stressful, and dangerous. Police officers have one of the highest rates of on-the-job injuries and fatalities, or deaths.

What they do. Enforce laws. Respond to calls for service. Patrol assigned areas. Conduct traffic stops and issue citations, or tickets. Arrest some suspects. Write detailed reports and fill out forms. Prepare cases and testify in court. Click here.!!

How police officers use math. They estimate the speed of cars and they have to estimate the age and height of the suspect.
