ADOPT FLORIDA BUILDING CODE Consistency with Florida Statutes The following sections in 9-33(b) are being retained and renumbered for consistency with the Florida Building Code: 106, 106.1.1.3, 106.1.1.4, 106.1.1.5, 108, 109, 110, 113, 114, 115

MODIFY ADMINISTRATIVE RULES Section 105.4.1 a: Section 105.4.1 a: Extends all permits 6 months Allow permits to be extended during construction

MODIFY ADMINISTRATIVE RULES Section 105.4.1 b, c, d, and e not being retained:Section 105.4.1 b, c, d, and e not being retained: They previously: Expired residential permits 2 years from the date of issuance and Required re-permitting after 2 years from the date of issuance Authorized the Mayor to cease permitting Reasons not retained: Governors’ Executive Orders extending construction permit(s) and Conflicts with economic incentive

MODIFY ADMINISTRATIVE RULES Section 105.5:Section 105.5: Assist contractors/homeowners with expired permits No additional permits issued until expired permit is replaced Does not affect inspection on active permits Email notification when permit has expired including information on how to replace the permit
