3. Announcements Making an announcement is an important way to get the word out about your event. Tips for making effective announcements: –Mention: Who, What, When, Where (Why or How, if important) –Keep your message brief –Try something “catchy” like background music, a catch phrase, or character voice. Practice before you take the mic!

4. Example- Halloween Party There will be a Halloween costume party in the cafetorium in Halloween night from 7-10. Cost is $3.00. Please see the Leadership 12 class for details. You might be too old to trick or treat, but that doesn’t mean you need to stay home on Halloween! Leadership 12 is hosting a Halloween Party on October 31 st. So don’t forget to put on your costume and head to the cafetorium from 7-10 for food, games, and music. There will be lots of prizes and the cost is a mere treat- only $3.00 with a for a howling good time!
