Jacob Zuma Jacob Zuma is the president of South Africa. He was born April 12, 1942. he was deputy president from 1999 to 2005 until dismissed by former president Thabo Mbeki. In 2005 he was in a corruption case. He was found innocent. He is now currently the president of south africa.

landforms South Africa has many landforms including parts of the Kalahari desert and the Drakensberg mountains.

provinces South Africa has 9 provinces: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, Northwest, Free State, Kwazulu-Natal, Gauteng, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.

languages South Africa has 11 official languages. 9 of them are indigenous. Zulu, Xhosa, Sotho, Swazi, Venda, Ndebele, Pedi, and Tsonga. English, Africaan, and Fanagola.

government South Africa has a federal republic. Until 1994 South Africa was governed by white minority with little other or mixed representation and no black representation. A permanent constitution was adopted in 1996 for the country to be a fully multiracial country. The new government is headed by a president. He is elected by the National Assembly for a 5 year term.
