Everyone is going to feel differently about this “If a client needs ‘X’, I’ll give them ‘X’.” It’s OK, if what we’re doing is in the context of achieving results If you ever feel you’re in over your head, you may need to refer the client to a therapist

www.CoachesWithClients.com “Getting Started Working With A Client...” One of the reasons clients don’t stay, is the coach isn’t coaching them on what the client wants to be coached on A lot of times coaches look at tools/assessments as coaching That may not be what’s most important to the client You want to know exactly what clients want FreeSessionsThatSell.com

www.CoachesWithClients.com “Client Intake Form…” What does the client want? What are the challenges the client is having in getting what they want? Homework: Fill out the coaching intake form

www.CoachesWithClients.com “Q&A: How Often Do You Update What The Client Wants?” Most of us can sense if we’re in tune with what the client wants or not If you’re feeling disconnected, then you should reassess what the clients wants and needs You can have them fill out the intake form again Maybe check in every 90 days Enjoy setting a goal, the journey of achieving the goal, and achieving the goal, but the goal itself does not necessarily make you happy

www.CoachesWithClients.com “Failing Is Part of Succeeding…” Failing is part of succeeding Let your client be discouraged All emotions pass (no one stays in anything forever) You’ll learn techniques to help a client get out of being stuck “Failure is not an option because you can’t avoid it.” Don’t hinge your happiness on any one result “Life isn’t fair” = limiting belief Give yourself & your clients permission to fail
