5. A View of Curriculum- Circles The Taught Curriculum The DE Academic Standards The Assessed Curriculum If students receive the bulk of their core instruction on topics and skills not aligned to the standards and assessment expectations, they will not reach proficiency on Delaware State Standards

How can the Delaware Recommended Curriculum help students to succeed?  Focus is on understanding, not just content, and skill acquisition.  Engages students in guided inquiry, practice, active learning, and rethinking.  Assessments designed before the lessons.  Activities and strategies designed to ensure all students are able to meet those targets assessed.
