My Schedule 7:55-8:30: Arrive/Un-pack/Bathroom/Morning Work 8:30-9:45: Reading Street/ Language Arts 9:45-10:00: Morning Break 10:00-10:45: Math 10:45-11:30: Specials 11:30-11:40: Bathroom 11:40-12:35: Success Maker 12:35-1:10: Lunch 1:10-2:00: Break/ Snack/ Recess 2:00-2:30: Unit (Social Studies or Science) 2:30-3:00- Pack Up/ End of Day Responsibilities (Load buses and prepare the classroom for next day.)

Thoughts and Feelings, Fears, Strengths and Weaknesses as you began Candidate Teaching. 1.I was very excited to finally be to this stage of my education. I was indeed ready to learn as much as I could from this endeavor! 2.I was also very nervous. I wondered if the children would like me and if our personalities would go well together. I was nervous about taking on ALL responsibilities!

Pre-Assessed prior knowledge of MLKJr. On-Going Assessment included Studies Weekly and an Individual assessment grade. Those two grades were then averaged. Pre- Assessed prior knowledge of two- dimensional shapes. On-going: included the Post- Assessment

4.0 Professional Development 2010 1.Very unfamiliar with differentiated instruction and how to meet each child’s need differently. 2.Weak classroom management plan. 3.Unaware of how important prior assessment is. 4.Very eclectic teacher and use different kinds of teaching tools. Now 2013 1.I am now aware of how important differentiation is and I am more comfortable using it. 2.I have a well developed classroom management plan. 3.I use pre-assessment with all lessons. 4.I am still very eclectic and used many teaching tools!

Classroom Management Plan Each basket has a different “price.” Amounts vary from 5-15 tickets. We buy from the treat tubs every 2 weeks!
