Unclassified Background JLLIS co-management responsibilities defined by MOA JS J7, MCCLL, and JCOA signed in April 2007. MCCLL responsible for: –incubation hosting –software development/systems engineering MOA “escape clause” 90 day termination notice –MCCLL provided JS J7 a 90 day termination letter in early April 2009, effectively terminating the MOA in July 2009. –Migration Plan to JS J7 - FOC 1 Oct 2010

Unclassified Reasons for Migration MCCLL/USMC resources MCCLL refocusing strategic vision to core competencies and support for Marine Corps Operating Forces “Incubation hosting” – two years and counting. Without MOA termination, migration would continually be OBE. Marine Corps will continue to support JLLIS by providing conduit to exchange data.

Unclassified JLLIS Transition MCCLL and the JS J7 working towards JLLIS transition by: –Sep 2009: JLLIS software updates are executed by the J7 under the configuration management of MCCLL. –Apr 2010: JLLIS and Marine Corps LMS are unbundled, operate independently and remain interoperable. –Sep 2010: JLLIS FOC at J7 JS or ???.
