3. SET WORKS WE STUDY Jasmin Vardimon- Justitia The students will be taking a dance workshop with the company in London to help their learning skills on the piece. Sacred Monsters by Sylvie Guillem & Akram Khan The student will be watching the performance at London's West End Dance home Sadler’s Wells. Filip Van Huffel’s Retina Dance- Relative Danger Students will be able to work with a company dancer here at High Storrs to help explore the study in depth Matthew Bourne's – Nutcracker Students get to study the work of one of Britain's biggest choreographers Alvin Ailey’s- Revelations Students get to study culture changes and history of dance

4. AS Coursework Unit 2 – DANC2 -Choreography and Performance Worth-60% of AS, 30% of A Level Practical coursework – internally assessed 90 marks in total Two sections: A – solo choreography and performance (60 marks) B – performance in a duo/trio (30 marks

6. Unit 4 – DANC4- Group Choreography and Solo Performance 25% of A Level Practical examination – externally assessed 75 marks Two sections: A – group choreography (45 marks) B – solo performance (30 marks)
