What can I do with Light Modeling What will you do?
1 What will you do? Compute the quantity of light in a system Analyze light propagation inside a system Build a virtual prototype for any lighting system Obtain the light performance of your virtual prototype Know the exact color of your system Compare the final color to requested standards. Virtual prototyping is the most important application of Light Modeling in the industry.

Next generation of light analysis “LIGHT EXPERT ” Light expert - LXP 2 DESIGN EXCELLENCE HUGE TIME & COST SAVINGS FAST LEARNING CURVE At last! A tool that explains what happens with light… The Light Expert (LXP) is the latest powerful analysis tool to be included in Speos. It enables the Engineer to understand how the light behaves. The optimisation process is often the following : An initial system gives some results not very far from the target, then the engineer analyses where the results need to be corrected and changes something in the system drawing on his/her experience and understanding of how the light behaves in the system. LPF - The principle of Light Path Finder is very simple : just select a user-defined shape in a result (a photometric map) and see the complete light path from the source to this shape. With just a few clicks in SPEOS you may now get a real understanding of the light behaviour in your system. You will then be able to identify the faces which are involved in the propagation, and so be able to modify them to meet your specifications. 3D RTF - Light Expert gives you access to the powerful Ray tracing Filtering function which works alongside Light Path Finder. You can select any area you want and apply the “Ray tracing filtering” on the selected faces. In this case the ray tracing will only show the light path of the rays emitted from the sources, hitting the selected faces and hitting the shape defined in the result map. This will enable you to see the contribution of any face to the energy you are analysing, and detect the importance of any face in your system.
