3 Who was the inventor? The inventor was Thomas Alva Edison.
He was an American. He was born in February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. He died on October 18, 1931 in West Orange, New Jersey.

4 What were his inventions?
Constructed the first electric motor ever made for a 110 to 120 volt line at Menlo Park, N. J. Invented further improvements in systems and details for electric lighting Laid the first groundwork for introducing them on a commercial basis. Invented the first light bulb

5 How does his invention benefit us?
People can finally read at night Less accidents occurred The smoke given off by past oil lamps would not have to be endured again

6 The qualities we admire about him
Showed perseverance in his actions He was determined-he tried over 3000 times to find the right material for the filament of the bulb.

7 What is interesting about the inventor/invention?
It is amazing how a single glass ball can give off so much light, and that Thomas Edison imagined such an unthinkable thing such as a burning filament.
