2  Areas to be discussed:  Expectations of Cheerleaders  Grade Requirements  Mandatory Summer Practices  Camp  Expenses

3  Cheerleaders represent Clark High school and therefore should keep that in mind both in and out of school.  Members of the squad are expected to hold themselves to a high standard that sets an example for other students.  Cheerleaders involved in illegal activities such as use of alcohol or other substances will be removed from the squad.

4  All cheerleaders need to maintain at least a 2.0 GPA but students should focus on achieving a higher GPA because grades are important!  Any cheerleader that is failing a class will be benched for the following week from the game(s).  Failing a class for more than three weeks will result in removal from the squad.

5  Freshman  Can be an alternate for competitive team  Junior Varsity  Can be an alternate for competitive team  Varsity  Will be expected to compete

6  Summer Practices will be held the following dates: June 15-17, June 22-25, July 27- 30, August 10-13.  All practices will be held on the track by the football field  All summer practices will be held from 7am- 10am  All practices are mandatory. – if a member is not able to find transportation they need to contact a coach as soon as possible.

7  This year we will be attending a UCA Summer Camp in Palm Desert, CA.  This camp will be August 3 rd -6 th  The cost of this Camp will be an additional $500- This does not cover the cost of the uniforms etc.  It is not mandatory but it is highly encouraged.  Total of $500 is due no later than June 30th

8  Uniforms- approximately $350  3-day camp pack- 3 t-shirts & 3 shorts  Uniform rental, half top, briefs, bow, bag, poms,  shoes, socks, & warm-up

13  Fundraisers  Sponsorships  Chocolate Bars  Car Wash  Sunglasses

14  May 11 th -15 th  4:00-5:30pm (except Friday)  Friday Try-Outs  Monday Morning 8:00am Official 2015-2016 Squad will be posted on the school website

15  MANDATORY PARENT MEETING  Tuesday, May 26, 2015 @5pm in room 200 If your son or daughter makes the squad you must be able to attend this meeting or contact the coach prior via email.
