Computer Buying Project
At your tables, choose one of the interviews of buying a new computer to use for this project. Your task is to give them at least 4 options and then give them advice on which one to buy. Your project will be presented to the class. The final product can be a: PowerPoint Debate Skit Video Other approved product

Your final product should have: A title with group members’ names The questions and responses from the interview chosen Computer comparison chart Which computer is chosen Justification for choosing that computer, including completion of the Computer Components Checklist. Who did what work You should be prepared to answer questions about your choices from other students.

Computer Components Checklist
To buy a computer you need to decide what parts are important. Look at the component list and decide which are important to the person you are shopping for. Use these components to create a comparison chart between the computers you are considering.

Rubric This project will be graded against the following standards:
Each standard will be graded on the 0-5 scale and entered in Gradebook by standard CCSS.ELA-Literacy.CCRA.SL.2 Integrate and evaluate information presented in diverse media and formats, including visually, quantitatively, and orally. CL.L2-02 Collaboratively design, develop, publish, and present products (e.g., videos, podcasts, websites) using technology resources that demonstrate and communicate curriculum concepts. CL.L2-03 Collaborate with peers, experts, and others using collaborative practices such as pair programming, working in project teams, and participating in group active learning activities. CL.L2-04 Exhibit dispositions necessary for collaboration CPP.L2-08 Demonstrate dispositions amenable to open-ended problem solving and programming (e.g., comfort with complexity, persistence, brainstorming, adaptability, patience, propensity tinker, creativity, accepting challenge).
