Activity5: Plan a Trip to a Specific Country Nature of the activity: Students in a group plan a trip to a specific country. They need to consider finances, type of clothing, medications they might need, foods they might encounter, sites to visit, and culture norms. This Web Quest ends with a presentation in both oral and written forms.

Type of activity: This pair activity allows students to use higher- order thinking skills,along with all of their language skills. Proficiency level: Intermediate to advanced fluency.

During three week, you will be traveling through three cities in Italy. Develop an itinerary of your trip including for each city: 1- The three cities that are being visited. 2- finances. 3- type of clothing. 4- medications you might need. 5- foods. 6- sites to visit. 7- cultural norms. After you have developed you itinerary, create a PowerPoint presentation of your trip itinerary to aid other students who are thinking of traveling abroad in their vacation planning. Task

You can choose between Florence, Rome and Venice. Find a map of the city you choose and do some research on that city. How are these places different from where I live? 3.What are my feelings about the places that I visited? For example, did they seem fun, colorful, exciting, or interesting? 4.If I were going to go on a real world trip would I want to go the places I visited in the project? Why?
