3 Prepare, Inspire, Connect What is Different in AP? Students are asked to read and write more Students must learn to evaluate and critically analyze material Similar to first year college courses

4 Prepare, Inspire, Connect AP ® Students need to: Make the AP course their #1 priority. Establish a daily study schedule. Review class notes nightly. Complete all assignments prior to class.

5 Prepare, Inspire, Connect When Parents Are Involved: Students achieve more. Students are more involved in their education.

6 Prepare, Inspire, Connect How You Can Help Offer study support daily Make sure students devote proper time to reading and studying (1 hour per AP class). No distractions (TV, Computer, Music) Daily, quiet area to study. Continue to provide Stress Relief Encouragement Talk to your child about being successful in school.
